Friend is a Cop....

It's a common misconception that everyone who immigrates to the USA is running from poverty.

I am a legal immigrant and I was never running from poverty because my family is considered very wealthy in my former country.

Why do I prefer America......I am a female and I don't like the idea of being forced into an arranged marriage for starters. I don't like the idea of being told that an educated woman is a waste of education. I went to college in America and earned my degree of my own choice, so I don't need a man who is a complete stranger to me telling me what to do. I don't need a society to tell me I cant own my own car and work on it......I will buy as many as I want in America. LOL

I can take care of myself, I did all the legal immigration paperwork myself and followed the rules without anyone holding my hand, and I paid all the associated fees with my own money. If anyone needs their hand held for every damn thing in life then it becomes a question of survivability in a state of nature. People like that would be best suited in a communistic or liberal state where everything is regulated and handed to those who cant otherwise take care of themselves.

Living free in America is an earned privilege and shouldn't be looked at as a right by anyone. The reason it is the greatest country on earth is because it was made that way by a bunch of people who were survivors and could take care of themselves instead of relying on someone else for basic needs. (see Maslow's hierarchy of needs) If someone cant afford or cant figure out how to get the paperwork done....first red flag.
