69 Dart emergency brake cable routing

It's been so long since I took my 69 Dart apart that I can't remember exactly the correct routing of the emergency brake cable. Specifically, from where it comes out of the firewall and goes down through the frame. Any help or a photo would be appreciated

I have another question. As I was installing the cable I see now that the frame connectors I had installed are in the way of the cable. I'm sure others have encountered this so I'd like to ask, what have you done in this situation?
