Just got Metro's weatherstripping for my convertible: HD-4500A header seal, and the 6-piece top rail kit.

Can anyone share a photo or two of how the header seal is installed on your top? I'm a little uncertain about the best way to attach it, and pictures are always helpful.

(Also, I have the same issue that was mentioned in this thread from 2011. The front rail pieces are a couple inches short, so I'm going to call Metro on Monday to see what's up.)

Thanks much!

How did your roof rail and header seal work? I have leaks where they all meet at the vent window top and the header and rail. If yours doesn't leak, I'd be curious of a close up picture of what it should look like with the roof away. Thanks.

Doesn't seem like many replies. I used the front strip from Laysons as it had a more moulded look around the vent window to windshield area. My last one let water in as it's such a busy area to seal and if there is any opening, hello rain. I'm about to install a fresh one after 15 years "just because" and it has started leaking. I'd be curious how well the Metro seal does for you. I may want that product if it's tight.
