Help with my wheels 68 Dart

-
Cragar makes a 14x6 (08060), 14x7 (08070), and a 14x8 (08080). According to their web site the 14x6&7 have 3 3/8" "rear spacing" (not sure what that is) and -3mm offset. They show the 14x8 wheel with 4 1/4 "rear spacing" and a +6mm offset. The two 14x6 rims from my donor car measure 3.5" from the outside rim to the hub face, and 3 3/8" from the inside rim to the hub space, so that works out to a -3mm (approximately 1/8") offset just like their specs. I was just wondering if I could run a 14x7 on the rear with something like a 215/70/ and a 205/70 in the front. Looks like I can. I have a picture of Ulf's 65 Dart Charger convertible and it looks like this is what he is running, but I can tell for sure from the picture. It looks like his rear wheels have are a little more "deep dished" than the fronts, but that would be a larger negative offset and not the 6mm positive offset that Cragar shows for an 8" wheel. I will probably just take on of my 08060's and try it with a 205 /70 in the front and a 215/70 in the rear and see if it all clears.

Thanks for your response.

I have 215/70-14 all around on a 65 Dart and a 70 Dart.
Its around a 26" tire. On the 65 Dart I had to trim a tiny amount of the front fender for clearance.
No big deal, you would never see it u less you crawled under the car.
Otherwise, a 205/70 works on the front with no modifications.

Thanks! That's good to know. I'm leaning towards 205/70 front and 215/70 in the rear. I think I'm going to test fit a couple of tires just to make sure.

Interested, but let me confirm my bolt pattern...
My bolt circle will be either 5 x 4.00 or 5 x 4.50... Hoping for the latter as it seems there is more options... and according to a lengthy post over in the slantsix forums i stumbled across, the SBP 5 x 4's are hard to find... which means that will most likely be my wheel... haha
Hi Nerftheherd, did you ever find out what the bolt pattern is for your car? is is a standard SBP? I am asking because some Darts assembled overseas had an intermediate 4.25 bolt pattern, which is my case, and I only can find mag wheels in those countries.
