Power steering brackets-Help please

I think all A-body slant power steering pump brackets used the 3 tapped holes on the block driver's side just above the oil pan. Some Aspen/Volare slants mounted the p.s. pump (Saginaw) to an AC bracket for a Sanden compressor. Posts w/ photos in slant forum (I have one). An idea if you want AC and don't have a compressor, or want to lose the massive RV2 beast. That bracket does get close to the battery in an early A, but note that batteries are getting smaller so you might use a thin one for some recent cars.

The bracket in post 4 looks familiar from when I had a 69 Dart slant. My original p.s. bracket cracked around the 3 mounting holes, making the pump shake. I got another bracket from a later A-body slant at the junkyard (~1972). It fit my pump, which might have been a Federal, but was a slightly different design. Perhaps better since it never cracked for 15 yrs until the car was stolen. I don't remember which one looked like the photo.

In my 1964 Valiant slant, I eliminated the option of a factory p.s. bracket since I made a custom bracket to mount a Sanden AC compressor on that 3-bolt pad. If I ever desire p.s., I will probably change to those Volare brackets, and we should have mini-batteries by then.
