I've use this from Home Depot on 2 cars. Happy with the heat and noise reduction. And it's pretty cheap.It took 4 rolls to do my 68 barracuda from firewall to tail lights.

This stuff!!
Just did the back of my Dart.
Cheap, easy, and nice and dense for sound deadening.
Only thing is be sure you have something clean for it to stick to.
If you do, it will stick great!
