That's not entirely true. "Traditional" powder coating has been around for a half a century and there are innovations in the industry all the time (including on wood, MDF and even a formulation for swimming pool liners that cures with sunlight!). O.K. so I learned something new today! So when are you going to start powder coating the "chrome" on Mopar dashboards? IMHO it will still be easier, cheaper, and more OEM-appearing to just use the original plating process.
