Guys is dually (2 rear wheels each side) factory optional , or is it customize? Look at the 76 truck today and the wheel well look very nice doesnt seem like it was modified, but I do alot research and couldnt find if Dually was factory install.

According to Wikipedia, the so-called "Dyna-Trac" dual-rear-wheel option on D300 pickups with a 10,000 lb (4,500 kg) GWVR was first offered in 1974. It should have a Dana 70 differential.

Here's a picture of my '78 D300 dually. I should think that a '74 would be fairly similar, although there was a bit of a restyle in '78.

Got a friend with a 76 D350 dually. Bought it from the original owner.

This is my W300 1 ton Fargo dually from the factory. Dual Dana 70s 4:88 gears PTO with the infamous indestructable 361 Engine. Trucks name is 'Mongo'

That is a cool Fargo. It's hard to tell but it looks like the frame rails are narrowed in to accommodate those dully rear wheels. How wide are the wheel wells in the truck box?

Narrowing the frame rails on this truck would be like plasma cutting through rail road rails. This is all early 60s technology. I never really looked at how much room or wide the bed wheel openings are since the truck sits so high on its stock suspension. the wheels are split 900x16 inch so the tires aren't that tall.
