Oil pressure gauge not working in Duster rally gauges

You just have to got through it..........

Circuit is pressure switch..........through bulkhead connector...........to cluster connector.......cluster pin.........trace..........to sender side of gauge STUD.........through gauge.....out other gauge STUD..........trace over to IVR

The only thing you know for sure is the IVR works because the other two gauges work

Start by grounding the oil sender wire/ key on. This should produce "full scale" on the gauge. Loosen/ tighten the stud nuts a few times.

Now, check for voltage from the IVR at both gauge studs both with sender wire grounded, and with sender wire open. Open should show IVR voltage on both gauge studs, grounded, the sender stud should be close to zero. If not, you have a problem in the connector pins/ wire/ bulkhead connector/ sender connector

If this seems to be, turn key off, unhook the cluster connector and "ohm" the sender wire to ground. Should be zero, with sender wire grounded in engine bay. This checks sender connector, bulkhead connector, and up to cluster connector

If that is OK check resistance from cluster pin to gauge stud, carefully, and do "wiggle test" for loose pin
