If both are small bolt pattern, most parts should interchange. Some 7 1/4 rears had bearing adjusters for the carrier bearing, where some had shims. Depends on year, and after all this time there is way to tell if the rear is original to the vehicle.
There is a difference in the end of the housing, backing plates, axles, axle bearings and seals, between the large bolt pattern and small bolt pattern 7 1/4's. They are not interchangeable.
