Opened Up The Old 489
Finally got around to this pig again. New 3.73 R&P tapered 10 spline. So first time for me attempting to set one.
I'm at 20" pounds turning force on the pinion with .036" worth the shims, and .006"-.008" backlash 4 spots around the ring.
I know already my painting skills are lacking here but what are your thoughts on the pattern at this point? .......
