I've got experience with other Mopars but my son just got a 65 Valiant he wants to drive daily to high school. We have no small block experience, so we are hoping to learn on this site.

Welcome to FABO from up North Georgia way!!!

Search away...there's tons of great info in the threads and the How-to Articles!

When we first moved to the area in 2006, we bought a place in Marietta just off Johnson Ferry Rd near Roswell Rd. We were closer to downtown Roswell than we were from downtown Marietta!! We moved from Marietta to Virginia Beach, then back to Woodstock, and finally (hopefully) in Rome for a LONG time.

We miss the variety of restaurants Cobb/Fulton County...but not the traffic!

Welcome aboard OP..... Lot's of knowledge on the board. Search engine is your friend for sure but few questions go unanswered. What's the plan for the car?

Welcome.
Nice you and your son are spending quality time
Together. Priceless.
Did same with my two sons.
Only now they both have supercharged mustangs?
Still cool!
Keep us informed.

Dave.

Welcome from Texas hopefully for your son his father/son project doesn't turn out for him like it did for my son. We finished the car he drove it 3 years high school left for college and I took it. I'm positive if you can't find the answer here there is no answer.

My first car was a '65 Valiant, paid $125.00 for it around 1973, the 273 V8 was only running on 7 cylinders (had a burned exhaust valve). Fixed it up a little at the Community College auto shop as you can see. Actually, I recenlty purchased two more 65 Plymouths, a Valiant Signet convertible and a Barracuda Formula S, we are here to help.
