Just got back from 4 days in Chincoteague / Assateague on Sunday. Headed to Myrtle Beach this Saturday for 2 weeks. Get back on July 9 and head to Carlisle on the 13th....

Want to go camping there next year.
Did they let the beach go?
I Remember going to Toms cove on one side and the Koa on the other. Was down there a few times as a kid.
Use to go the the grocery store and pick up a pack of chicken real cheap then go crabbing with it off the dock in Toms cove. I will never forget the girl there that went running and screaming through the campsite with a crab clamped on to her hand.
Want to go camping there next year.

We did Toms cove a few years ago the weekend of the pony swim and didn't have any mosquito issues. This time we stayed at what was Maddox Family campground, now a koa. We had a constant breeze from the assateague side, so no bug issues for us.

Roger that BD. I've been making the yearly 2 weeker since I was 9 yrs old. Turned 50 earlier this year. MB has changed a lot in the last 41 years.

They had a shooting the other day and watch for sharks.

Saw that. And last year I was swimming with 2 black tip reef sharks. They were about 4 ft between the dorsal and tail fins. Jake almost walked on water when we saw them. I just slowly backed away with my arms tight to my sides. They came up about 5 ft away from us......
