Hey All,

I just finished a new batch of bronze Brake and Clutch pedal assy. bushings ready to ship. I can't seem to update the old for sale thread on this one so here is the link: [FOR SALE] - Bronze Brake & Clutch Pedal Bushings **new**

It has a few testimonials and such.

The prices are $30 per set for the brake bushings (2 pieces) and $25 per set for the clutch bushings (2 pieces), or if you need both brake and clutch it is $55 (4 pieces) + shipping and any Paypal fees.

Thanks, and let me know if you have any questions.

Hey Chris - do these fit the early A clutch/brake or are they for the 67-up? I'm not sure if they are the same or different sized.

I can't remember if someone with an early A tried them or not. Anyhow, measure your brake pivot tube/rod. OD should be right around .812. And your clutch rod should be right at .050. If so, then they'll work!

Thanks,

CE

PS, and if not, let me know your measurements and I can make a set for you!

I definitely want a set of the brake bushings. Will measure pivot shaft diameter. Do the clutch bushings replace the needle bearings that were there originally?

I don't know as I've never tried that. I think the needle bearings were used on the HD units. The HD units have a 1 inch bore diameter if I am not mistaken. I'll be curious what you measurements are. I have not made any of the HD bushings yet (brakes) but I do have the material for it.

The needle bearings are available, and I think I'd just use modern replacements if my assembly was set up for them. But I can always turn a set of bronze bushings to fit it as well.

Yes, my brake pivot shaft is 1.00 inch. I definitely want a set for the brake pedal when you make them. I can get replacement clutch pivot shaft needle bearings from brewers so I will use those. Just FYI, the clutch pedal pivot shaft was about 0.57 inches. Varied a little more or less depending where I measured it. Thanks.

Will pm you on the measurements.
