Airbrushed metal? Look cool?

i love it
specially love the silent threat against the import :)

as for wheels, i normally dislike these, but i think it would look best with centerlines...specially if you can get them darker looking

This only works if some of the metal 'panels' spell out, "Mopar", "Plymouth", or similar in a discrete manner, either so large you only see it from a mile away, or so abstractly it has to be shown to people

I just got back from the sign shop with some stencils for the rivets. Gonna wash it, reprime the fender, and do it with auto color paints. This time I'll do half as many rivets, and I do have the Plymouth logo cut out as well. Gonna put that on the trunk lid in the back, and on the rear quarters. Kinda ghost it in.
Instead of the torn metal, going to just make it look like half a panel has rusted off showing the American flag underneath. I do have some serial numbers as well, just trying to figure out where to put those. This time I won't make it so dark. You can't tell what it is from 30 feet Looks like a dark fender. I want ppl to look at it while driving by and go damn....that's cool. Anyone wanting to try this it's really super easy. No artistic talent needed. It's pretty much all tape work and templates

I saw this in person and the pics just don't show how well done it looks in person. It looks really really well done and this was just practice!
I agree with a bit lighter color and less panel lines & rivets. And then the car is such a nice straight car that it could look great in the satin red.

Back at it again. This time with the real stuff. Going to do one step at a time to get the whole car done

Well. I'm trying it ATM with water paint so I can wash it off. Might just stay with it. Keep in mind I still haven't added white for highlights and brown for a old weathered look

Wow, that looks awesome. Its always nice to see something different at the car shows, especially when they are done well.
