I still have some of my models from the 70's. I must've build hundreds, still have about 20.

alot of these wont avalibile when i started building!! id killed for the 72 RR that duster n dart!!! first stock duster kit i seen came out round 2000,..only the funny car i could find before...i had one them white 69 camaros on far side of pics,..couple of them really... wish i had all i built threw the years,..lost over a 100 in house fire,..lost a big box full moving one time blew off truck....lord lord!
 
cool!!! and those old cab overs! had an old cabover 350 cummins 10 speed back n 90's... a cowboy pulling his BIG horse trailer! ha

who dusts those models anyway!!? ha

keep mine in a dust free department store case...but a dish of water and a box of q-tips seems to be the stander 1:24 car wash!

They're boxed up in the garage now - kids can throw 'em away when I'm gone. I went through phases - military vehicles, exotics, show cars (remember Cherry Bomb). Always gravitated back to the Mopars. But one of my favorites, which finally disintegrated over time, was the '55 Shoebox Chevy gasser - Badman.

mopars chevys and big trucks...never had a cherry bomb but remember them,..had 4 badman's...remember the red berren roadster?? gluein on that helmet without gettin glue on the chrome!!

you guys have me checking my stash now , a lot of unbuilt's still boxed up , and a slew of builts n parts . when my bud grow up and tost there collections . i'd try to get them . but most got away . and i've given alot away to kids i've known with no dads in the picture over the years . still have my big duce for 63 . not much left , so i bought a few more to get it done and more . red , yellow and black big duces . have the big tee as well , enough big drag parts to build a big drag . would still need the big tub and big rod for the whole series of 1/8 scales , have a couple 65 vette's as well . but back . i;m inventoring my collection . be back with kits and the count .

i built that kit years ago,..was a nightmare like 2 half kits threw in box together...off sided cab ant right an sleeper set for centerd cab an not correct for rubber duck truck,..you did good on it tho!

...cant believe it survived, all them yrs in small crawlspace attic, (near air vent!) goin from 1oo*summer to Freezing cold in winter,, for years!

found this trailer in between rafters in crawl space up stairs at my dads it was a smokey an the bandit 2 trailer by ertel i build when i was 12 or so in early 80s,..looks good re did as a chicken wagon!
 
them extreme temp changes must of affected the chrome, as it is gone ,,with only the black plastic showing. . . also had the "SHLITZ" white freight liner beer rig n' trailer.
