Respectable street car?

So for me...
1. 11's minimum Hows about 93 in the 1/8th
2. 2500rpm or less at 80mph, hows about 2250@65,cuz Actually the speed limit here is 100kph. 80 would be 2770ish
3. Handling on par with a modern pickup Find one to keep up with me,lol, but I get what you mean. Some of the new pick-ups do pretty good.
4. 100k+ before anything needs attention under the hood hows about 115k and still going strong
5. how about mpgs near 20US
6. comfortable enough for a daytrip to 8 hours away.
7. don't care about tunes,A/C, yadayadayada
8. sounds like a screaming banshee at 7200, but almost too quiet at under 3000
9. understated but tastefully done paint, so as not to be a "cop-magnite"; Not there yet.
10. never overheats or boils the gas, or starts hard or does anything except what I tell it to with my right foot or my left foot or the steering wheel; she just be's dutifully obedient.
Sounds good to me. I'm glad you get the pickup truck reference. I've raced both dirt and asphalt cars my whole life. I seem to be able to hang with the typical Vette/Mustang/Camaro goon just fine with a modern pickup. All the stock muscle cars I've driven handle somewhat on par with a Bobcat skid steer.
