My dad restored a 1957 DeSoto Firedome 2 door, as I was growing up. It sat in a farmers field for who knows how long before my dad dragged it home. The entire floor had to be replaced and rockers, rear bumper where the exhaust came through was pretty much gone. And he replaced the fenders, they rotted out in the over hang above the headlights.
