New oil pump. Prime with accumulator?

Pack the pump with heavy lube or grease as suggested. Crank it on the starter or get/ make a priming shaft. REMOVE THE FILTER

Why!!!???

Because the filter is the first thing the pump outputs into, and by removing it, you remove ALL head pressure. The pump will easily prime with no head to work against. Yes, it will make a little mess. Crank the engine by jumpering the starter relay so you can see it, and provide towels, drain pan, etc. That pump should prime in just about 1 second of cranking time with no filter

Then fill your filter as much as you can, tip it side to side and it will take more. Spin it on, recrank, look for oil pressure on a gauge.
