1 of 51 ! can it be possible :

Galen's numbers are cars that are in his registry, not total production numbers. So when he says a car is 1 of whatever, the "whatever" is cars he knows about, not the total number of cars produced by the factory with those options.

I was gonna pay Galen a whole bunch of money for a full decode etc on my '71 EL5 GT. It's one of ~1280 GT's, plus it's a high impact color, power steering, A/C, 318 (most were /6's, none were 340's), built in Windsor for US export. I saw another one of his decodes on a similar car (318, Windsor built for US export) that said that car was 1 of only 13. Then I got a good look at the 70/71 GT registry. There were already 12 cars like that in the GT registry, and one of them wasn't mine. And I can guarantee Galen didn't previously know of my car, it's not something the previous owners would have had any idea about. So, that means that 100% of those 13 cars made by the factory are now in the GT registry, or, there were a hell of a lot more than 13 of them, and Galen only knows about 13. Let me give you a hint, it's the latter. Because the odds of 13 little old 318 cars surviving to present day and ALL of them being registered in a GT registry that only had 69 cars in it are worse than winning the Powerball.
