SLANT 6 AND HOLLEY 1920 IN AUSTRALIA.......WE ALL LOVE YOUR MOPARS

As a mechanic from 1968 to now, I can't think of any other carby and automatic choke that was made 57+ years ago that impresses me so much !..............our 1965 Valiant Regal PBA which parents purchased here in Australia new has never had the bi-metal heat stove choke replaced or the carby Overhauled ! .......un-bloody-believable ! The new Fuel & air filter every 10,000 miles must be one of the points of credit.

Same goes for the whole car...........not one thing has been replaced other than normal minor service items....original power plant/drive-line untouched.....go figure!

Always had one very respectful driver; Mum!.....she wouldnt let Dad drive it as he was a little rough ........I've done my best to follow her lead for the last 20 years since she passed, and the beautiful old girl just keeps on as if Mum was driving her. I think the modern coolant we put in 20 years ago must be given the credit for welch plugs and head gasket never needing to be replaced.

Im about to take her off the road to remove K frame & all her virgin Bushes and Ball joints from the front end and maybe lift engine and Tranny out and replace a few leaky seals and gaskets
