1969 Formula S owners needs help with Variable Speed Windsheild wipers

Greetings,
I had my car painted by a guy who completely unassembled the wiper motors, arms, pivots, etc, to paint the engine bay. This guy, (I'm being nice here) has since died, so I can't ask him what windshield wiper pivots, arms, etc. parts were given back to me when he decided he didn't want to put it back together....

Reinstalling the parts seemed straight forward, except that the right hand drive link disconnects itself from the right hand pivot assembly, and the wipers over shoot the chrome in the down stroke and goes way past the windshield and pillar (left side). I suspected the drive crank link was hooked up wrong to the left pivot assembly, but I have triple check and even tried to reverse them, but the assembly is correct, according to the 1969 Service manual.

However, I have no idea if the Drive crank connecting to the variable speed motor, or either of the right and left pivot assemblies are correct?

How do I know if they are correct? Are there dimensions of these parts so I can determine correctness?

Help please! RainEx is nice, but best at high speeds.....

Best,

Bill
