With the engine (383 Mopar) off, when I work the accelerator linkage, should Both pump squirters squirt, real strong ? --- - With mine, the driver side squirts real strong, and the passenger side just drizzles out. -- From approx. 1,00 RPM to about 2,200 RPM, on the highway, the engine stumbles, and above 2,200 RPM it smoothes out, and runs fine. -- I'm trying to determine if I have a carburetor problem, or something else. -- I'm not very educated in fixing carburetors. -- Comments Please. -- Thanks

Yes...both should squirt equally strong...remove the squirters and clean them...should fix the problem.

If you have the leather accelerator pump, it helps to gently stretch it out using a small screwdriver...just a little. A touch of oil doesn't hurt either if it's dried out.
