I had listed my 65 Barracuda for sale a week or so ago and pulled the ad after a prospective buyer and his bodyman discovered that the driver's frame rail had taken a hit. I had recently been in contact with the previous owner who told me how he had bought the car after he found it sitting from a fenderbender, bought a parts car and how he and his Dad repaired it as best they could. I kind of hate to part it out since the body on it is pretty decent, but sometimes it's the best course of action to take. It is a 273 2 barrel 4 speed 7.25 rear end car. I am going to use the seats in my 47 dodge project but anything else is for sale. I have a lot of stuff in storage that fits both the Barracuda and some as well that fits a 65 Valiant - trim, gauges, dash pads, etc. Just ask - I just might have what you are looking for! Post your general questions on parts on this thread; If you call dibs on something, I really prefer a PM so I can keep track of everything in one place - my PMs.

I thought the previous owner wanted it back?

Don't scrap it for a frame rail, call Tony defeo.

That's a pretty good lookin' car to give up and part out for a damaged frame rail. Straighten or replace it and save the car. (JMO)

Before I get more “don’t part it out” or repair it” type comments, I need to explain my situation. I only have a single car garage with the 65 Dart wagon inside and no other vehicle storage (another garage, carport, etc. Everything else, and I mean everything else, sits outside, including the wife’s 2017 Grand Caravan, my 2013 Challenger, the 2010 Ram, an 87 Ram, the 93 Dakota, the 47 Dodge and of course the Barracuda. I’ve got my 65 Dart wagon in the garage slowly working on it so it would have to come out to get the Barracuda inside to do any kind of frane rail or possible lower driver’s hinge area work. The wagon in it’s current state of disassembly is not moving any time soon. The Barracuda has sat since I bought it in 2004 and would probably still be waiting for me to do the repairs when I die! I am 72 today so I know repairing it is not in the cards anytime soon. Wife (whose name is on the title) and I decided we are not going to sell the Barracuda as it could be a huge liability on our part - not going to even chance it! So it’s part time even if it looks OK or was a complete rust bucket. Sorry guys but that’s the way it is!

The following parts have been sold and shipped: the timing chain cover and timing tab and the right angle oil filter adapter - thanks Frank!

All new PMs answered.

I'll take A back up lens or both? Also inside window trim pieces?

Edit: Passenger side from fender and door?

Cost for shipping to 92806

All PMs answered (I think). If you didn’t get an answer or pictures to your PM, please remind me. Thanks for everyone’s patience!

I do need some parts for my 65 Barracuda restoration. I just sent a list in the form of a conversation. I don't know how to send a private message.
Thanks

The following parts have been sold and will ship tomorrow: adjustable rocker arms and pushrods, V8 centerlink, and valvecovers - thanks Jason!

Got a tentative sale on the shifter, handle, boot, floor bezel and front bumper. I'll update when actually sold.

The shifter, handle, boot and floor bezel are sold and shipped. The tach and sending unit “sardine can” are sold and shipped.

I was at my storage building this afternoon looking for an armrest for a member and come across a tub of Barracuda parts, trim, interior stuff, etc - too much to list plus another tub with Valiant convertible trim. Drop me a PM for anything specific you're looking for. I will try to get pictures of everything in the next couple of days and either add to this thread or start a new one.
