Has anyone seen or tried this brush on chrome finish??? Is this for real???

must be something with the under coat , because if you took notice ,the drips on the hood of the car they were painting on didn't turn to chrome

Its ALL in the undercoat. I read that it needs to be cleared as its pretty soft and the clear may yellow it. They have a bunch of really boring spray on videos where the guy mists a motorcycle tank for like 10 minutes. sure, Ill try it if they give us any marketing URL.

looks like 200.00 for 4 oz. kit with base coat and brush

3000.00 for the gallon kit

"Doesn't need a top coat". I wonder how it will hold up to cleaning chemicals or a gas spill. I use Duplicolor spray chrome on the reflectors in my taillights and turn signal lights. Brightens up the lights.

It's garbage. Will not withstand any weathering at all. Not durable. In other words, if it's too good to be true, it probably is. Ask Leanna @ Phoenix Specialty Coatings about it.
(It might work good for re-plating model car parts though)

I tried it and did not have good results. It wound up looking like army surplus aluminum paint. Made sevaral attempts but just could not get succesful results. It may be the guy who applied it but I usually have pretty good luck with tasks like these.

The OP didn't state what they where interested in applying this on.

I've researched this quite a bit also and there is one out there that you can clear coat. It's called Spaz-Stix. It comes in a kit on EBay for around $35-40 with its base, chrome and clear, all the videos I've watched on it, state that the base MUST dry for a minimum of 24 hrs before applying the chrome. It can be buffed out before applying the clear, they make in a spray can but everyone says that airbrush is the best application. I'm gonna by a kit and use it on restoring the rallye dash. So everything I've read so far says it's best for smaller parts and interior trim pieces.

Hope this has helped!

I tried Alsa Killer Chrome spray can kit on a rally inst' bezel a few years ago. I couldn't get it to lay evenly to all those contours. I suspect this is why all the example videos are of applying on a "egg shell" shape.
maybe a air brush would work better. Good luck

I also tried the chrome vinyl wrap.... it looks killer but it hates curves!! I'm gonna use it on the console cover and other items...but the dash is out of the question!
