Yes, I always have most of my deer ground, with no fat added, cause I make Jerky from it. I take the back straps separately, and grill them ., or cook them in a cooking bag, in the oven, with BACON!!!!!
Nice, I have a couple packs of burger left, now that we have the beef, im thinking of making some slim-jims with the deer just to use it up. How long does jerky stay good in a freezer i wonder? I found a bag of it last night from last winter.
