Gotta go and pick up my machine work in a bit, $594 ...We'll see how much Howards wants to pay...

Howards cam oil holes were not drilled properly. Ate Rocker shafts and ductile iron adjustable rockers. Metal goes to sump, eats crank and engine bearings. Had the block cleaned ...AGAIN..Honed, Crank had to be turned. ..Then I did pay them to deck the block, =which I did not do previously. Now I also need 010 bearings,

I remember the cam deal. damn!!!

How generous of them....
I just wrote them a letter. I was waiting to get the Machine invoice, so I can forward it to them. Also I photo documented the disassembly and numberd the bearings. I'm going to send some of the bearings and the pics along to them. In the letter, I told them that I am a very active member on many car forums..

that ain't good - last I knew you were headed out to get some kerosene so you could have heat in the garage

Or burn it down...

yeah not happy at the moment. I'm hoping i can just purchase the case separately and rebuild it.
The scrap yards part out cars and sell online over here. I think I've mentioned that before. They have a joint site so you can always find what you need for newer cars. I ordered an ABS hydraulic unit for a colleague's Audi yesterday, $50 shipped vs $1,000 new.
