Stop in for a cup of coffee

Did you ever raise chickens? Have you seen what they eat? They eat mice other birds and even their own peeps and poop. I have worked in the chicken barns and quit eating chicken for awhile.
Yep, we had chickens when I was a kid. I spent half my childhood growing up on a farm in Virginia.

The pigeons here eat stuff floating in pools of petroleum waste, road wash and other stuff laced with dioxins, benzene, heavy metals and worse.

What chickens eat doesn't bother me, what city pigeons eat does.

Meh, survival of the fittest. Those of that know how to do it will just have less competition for the food sources.
. True but as much as I'm all for Darwinism and would love to see it play out, doesn't mean it won't be sad to see knowing that people could have survived if they knew how to take care of themselves and not fought over stupid stuff like the latest IPhone on Black Friday

Yeah chickens literally eat EVERYTHING. Way worse than hogs even.
By the way did you try the pudding meat Dave?

Ever had blood pudding? Stuff makes me gag just mentioning the name yuck

Well I'm out y'all. If I don't see or talk to y'all between now and Thursday, Happy Thanksgiving and God Bless and Keep you safe!

I grew up having to do all these things such as butchering Hogs Cows and chickens lambs and everything else I used to grumble as a kid and young adult. Cleaning a snapping turtle is about the nastiest except for the cleaning of the stomach linings for stuffing. But I look at what I know today of those things and surviving in the woods and I am thankful for the upbringing I had. And where I live the world comes apart I settle in on wild turkey and venison. This country boy will have no problem surviving.

Finally took the pork shoulders off the smoker. Smelling good!

Yay! I got my order of Kona Coffee today! It's going to be a nice coffee morning tomorrow!

How much for a half pound?
It is usually $24 for this but I got it on an anniversary sale for $16. It is their award winning single estate coffee.

"There is no other Kona Coffee like this one. It stands alone. Our Grande Domaine Kona has gained notoriety by being selected as a Kona Coffee Cupping contest winner for outstanding quality and balance. A decadent blend of our most flavorful Kona coffee beans and Peaberry Kona, the most rare Kona Coffee of all. This is the best of the best; sun-drenched Kona coffee, harvested by hand and roasted to a perfect Vienna roast, which is a little darker than medium. For connoisseurs, that’s a perfect second-crack so you taste both the roast and the exquisite flavor that only comes from the Mauna Loa region of the Kona Coffee belt. This coffee will spoil you for any other. A cup of oh-my-gosh sent directly from Hawaii to your door, with Aloha."

Sounds good. I did enjoy the coffee in Hawaii when I was there years ago.

The neighbor and I have this going. I was a bit disappointed the last batch we got though. I think Randolph forgot the rum.

Sounds great. Yummy

Damned sinus bug isn't letting me go to sleep. I think I will stuff some left over pizza into my belly and see if that does it.
