340 Short Block Find

i have come across an add posted by a gentleman selling 4, 340 shortblock engines. Years 68, 69, 70, and 71. He is asking $1,700 each and has available additional part for added cost.

Any thoughts on this pricing? Unfortunately no pictures, but he has claimed to race an build engines since he was 14.
