Wanted to make sure its all correct, that being said notch i believe is down at front of engine on passenger side, the oil holes should be angled at springs, Correct?
Unfortunately, incorrect. Notches go down, and to the front on the driver's side and to the rear on the passenger side. (Info taken direct from a '65 Plymouth FSM, from the rocker installatoin section for the 273 engine.)
When installed this way, one set of holes in each shaft points down (to lube the rocker bores) and the other set of holes points towards the pushrods, to provide oil to the pushrod cups.
