Is this correct rocker configuration 273

Yep I agree, that's why I was 2nd guessing the notch orientation initially stated and checked literature I had. I was sure notches were down on drivers side front, and down pass side rear.

So i have notch backwards?

You need to buy a couple more adjusting screws with nuts from Summit Racing to complete your set. You need to remove those rocker arm shafts from the engine take the nuts and screws out and take a flat file and dress the surface flat where the nuts sit.[/QUOTE]
Good eye,yes i purchased a full set and tonight the new screw ended up crossthreaded somehow on a rocker i didnt use, so i just put the one temporary, i dont know where i can buy a singlescrew to replace the one, didnt know i can just one

If you crossthreaded a screw, rocker threads may be pooched as well. Both I think are available individually

Did you run a tap down through the hole on the rocker arm. The threads from the factory are not parallel they are made for an interference fit with the adjusting screw. So just run a tap down through clean the threads up and see if that screw doesn't fit correctly then.
But you do need to file the top flat where the nuts it to keep it from coming loose when the engine is running. Also since some of those are plugged up on the top look underneath and see if there is a .100 to.125 hole under the rocker pointed toward the tip.
