Is there an actual advantage to BBP vs SBP?

If you are old school like me, don't bother switching to BBP. I'm currently running a black steel wheel in the back and centerline skinnies up front but now changing to 15 inch steel wheels all around.

Don't let the BBP being "stronger" bother you unless you are building some sort of 9 second beast. The pic in my avatar shows my car pulling the front wheels off the ground. I've run hundreds and hundreds of 1/8th and 1/4 mile passes on my stock 8 3/4 rear with the stock SBP axles. Oh this is also on the "weak" 741 center section
