.........Who's from Saskatchewan.....

Funny, I have an acquaintance who is moving back to BC because he says it is almost 25% cheaper to live..

Have not been here for some time. Mopar projects on the back burner, but I would like to add a comment. This is coming from a guy who has lived in 3 Western Canada provinces. Saskatchewan rules! I was born in Manitoba and growing up in the 60's and 70's, we imagined Saskatchewan to be our poorer cousin. How wrong could we be? Saskatchewan has oil and mineral wealth, a stable and effective provincial government and economy, great sunsets and the Riders! Direct comparison with BC would show that they may have the lowest income tax rate in Canada, but that is quickly offset by user fees. Try BC Health at a fee of $300 per month. So much for Canadian health care. Gas is about 10 cents a litre higher than anywhere else in Canada. Thank you, carbon tax. Property taxes are reasonable, bu the overheated real estate market in the lower mainland is threatening to take down the entire country. Prices are about triple for similar properties between Vancouver and Regina. Electricity is a bargain in BC as it is in Manitoba, but auto insurance is almost criminally overpriced. ICBC and MPI are the worst. In Saskatchewan, you can get a basic plate and liability for $134 for your 30 year or older classic vehicle.

Picked up a nice body for my 74 Duster just out of Dallas a couple months ago. Now that summer is almost over, it is time for Moparing! I started a build thread in "Members Restorations". Just wanted to keep this thread going. I know there are many nice Mopars in Saskatchewan. Hell, there are several on my crescent.

Dwight is on the board somewhere here, his title is Dustmon or something like that. I have know him for many years. I usually visit him at Christmas and talk about Mopars, when I am home.

It's Inferno Red. I have a white one that is donating it's soul to the red roller I bought.

We passed through Saskatoon in 1964 on our trip from Elemendorf Alaska to Andrews AFB in Maryland. Our 1956 Plymouth Suburban station wagon lost its transmission on the way to this town and your countrymen treated us like VIPs while we waited for the repairs! Thanks for all the love!!!:salute::prayer:

Greetings fellow Saskatchewanian MOPARians!
I just joined FABO not long ago when a rough '65 Cuda came across my path that I'd like to restore. I live in the bustling metropolis of Caronport (15 mins west of Moose Juice).

Anyone have an A833 they'd be willing to sell? And a bellhousing for a small block (do the magnums have a different bolt pattern than the LAs? I have a 360 magnum that I'd like to put in)

Being that you are working on a 65', do you want the 4 speed style with the "ball and trunnion" flange?
