Looking for A-bodies to be featured in online Mopar magazine

-
Hey all;

I'm looking for some more A-bodies to do. If you'd be interested, let me know via PM. If you want your car featured, I need to have good quality photos (like the example below) and tons of information on your car. I do these searches for cars quite often and usually only 20% of the messages I get end up in articles. Most of the cars submitted to me are poor quality photos and barely any information and those just won't do.

Thanks,
Cody

What kind of shape does the car have to be in and I ask because i do not have the flashy paint and pretty decals. I saw some of the cars you did stories on and those are pretty well all done, up finish...Im that struggling paycheck guy wanting the nice restore look but not willing to go in to big debt to get it all done so I do what i can over the years.

Are you looking for poor quality cars in nice photos? That I can do....

Okay how did that happen...?? Im sure you where upset to see that.

My garage burned down on top of my 69 383 GTS that I bought in 1978. I was two weeks away from starting it for the first time in over 20 years after a complete rotisserie restoration using pretty much all NOS parts. I still have it but have not touched it since it fried in 2013. It will be finally coming back apart in 2018, forty years after I bought it.

Hello everyone!
I'm a freelance writer for an online Mopar magazine called "Mopar Connection". I do mainly news and car feature articles; both restored cars and ones people have found sitting. I've done feature articles on mainly B-bodies and I'm looking to expand and do a few more on A-Bodies. I'm open to everything whether it be 100% OE spec restored or pro-touring and everything in between. Regardless if your car has a Slant 6, 318 or a Hemi, I'm interested in everything! If you'd be interested, please shoot me a PM and we can go from there. I do ask a few things though to qualify for a feature article.

-You must have good quality photos of your car- at least 1000x600 in size preferably. Facebook quality photos won't do. You'll see the type of pictures I'm looking for below

-Information on your car- the more info the better! Most feature articles are around 1000-1500 words. I've had guys want their cars featured and then send me two sentences of information and that's it. That won't work.

Here's some examples of work I've done:
Cutting It Close: Forrest Mackay’s ’69 Dart Swinger 340 4-speed
On The Second Day: Chris Giardina’s 1969 Dodge Charger R/T
Superbly Unsubtle: Bryan Durdle’s 1970 Dodge Super Bee (Video)
Finders Keepers: Steve Moore’s 1970 Challenger T/A Gator Top
Hawaiian AAR: Dean Nishizaki’s 1970 Plymouth AAR ‘Cuda Replica

Cheers,
Cody
My car is in the S/S clone section. Is that the kind of car & pics you're looking for?

here's a recreation of the 68 formula S i had in high school 70-72. it took about 2500 hours to complete and is about 98% original parts. i painted it with old school lacquer paint so it would look like the cars did 40 years ago.

As long as it's a running, driving car, I'm interested. I can't do anything on restoration projects. Doesn't have to have flashy paint! If it's presentable and you are proud of it, that's all that matters. I'm a struggling paycheck guy too, I know the feeling. Feel free to shoot me a PM and we can chat more about making something happen.

Here is a picture of mine...

Oh man, that is so sad!!!! :(

LOL if you are proud of it, I'm willing to do something on it. None of my old Mopars are shiny either. The closest car I have to running condition is my '69 Charger and it's half original T5 Bronze and half red oxide spray bomb LOL.

Let me take a look and I will PM you.

Yep,, this unrestored street brawler has a lot of history! Even owned buy a well known member on here, can't believe I've owned it going on 27 years! Glad it's not "restored"

I will PM you.

Replied :)

If your interested, I've got tons of pictures of my build and it's getting close to the end. My build thread has a ton of pictures and info...

It's an entire garage build and only the body work and paint was farmed out.

Absolutely interested. The second the car is 100% complete, send me a message and we'll make it happen!

Would you be interested in a 73 Plymouth Scamp modified to look like a 70 Dart Swinger340? I built this like I would have back in the 70's.

My Valiant is the only car you will ever feature that has not only done Drag Week but has shared garage space with a polar bear...

bought the summer of 1989 when I was 18yo, have a long history wit this car, and some pretty good stories. 1000 words may not be enough.
