Bent Pushrods on a rebuilt 318

Both the 1.5 roller tip and 1.5 ratio full roller were power LOSSES over the stamp steel. This is probably due to the weight differences. The 1.6 full roller was only a difference of 2.7 ft/lb torque @ 5100 rpm. I just can't justify spending $700 for less than 3 hp.


So did we ever figure out why it bent the pushrods?

Yeah, my rocker shafts were on wrong. This lead to some oiling issues, which lead to my exhaust valves sticking. Looks like the back of my engine was still getting oil which explains why 6 bent instead of all 8.
