My fender tag was lost about 30 years ago, which didn't make a difference until lately now that I'm looking to trade the car! Now it's a big deal!!..to some people anyway!
When I bought in 84 that tag meant nothing. I got a BB car based on the Dash VIN and engine installed to replace my beloved 69 SuperBee. Fast forward 30 years and it is very important. Did not really know at the time how it would matter and surprised and glad that I never tossed it.
