1968 Dart GT Build Thread- From 318 Auto to 500ci Manual and more!

Lots of progress since last time. Finally got it on the road again. Just a few little things to button up like windshield trim, glovebox, and seatbelts. I couldn't resist taking it out for a few burnouts in the driveway though.

Work I ended up getting done this winter.
-Redid vinyl top
-Mini Tub
-Spring Relocation
-Installed 8 3/4 w/Auburn Pro LSD, Moser Axles, and 3.55 gears
-Swapped the auto for a manual 4-speed w/Hydramax Hydraulic clutch, Quicktime Bellhousing, and Centerforce Clutch
-Swapped the 318 for a 408 Stroker. Dyno'd at 485 HP and 511 Tq
-Rebuilt front suspension with Poly PST kit
-Rebuilt Drum brakes on all 4 corners (discs coming next winter)
-New chromemoly Victory Driveshaft with 1350 U joints and Forged Yolk
-XHD Mopar Leafsprings
-Bolt in USCT Driveshaft loop
-MSD 6AL2
-OER Aluminum Radiator
-Flowkooler water pump
-Solid motor mounts
-28x12.5R15 Mickey Thompson ET Street SS
-New Carpet and dash pad
-New Autometer Tach and Oil Pressure Gauge

Probably some other stuff I'm forgetting but that's the big stuff.

Now for a video from today. First time driving it since getting everything swapped over. My custom steel rims from Wheel Vintiques won't arrive for another week or 2 so I threw the old 205/70R14 radials on the back.
