1970 5.7 Hemi Duster

just a thought.....move your doors back...then move your fenders back. In the previous posts your door / fender gaps are HUGE and IMO is where your hood fitment problem lies. Sometimes I have to slot the mounting holes to get the components to fit the way I want which is tighter than the factory did back in the day.

If you tighten up both of those gaps, should be close. What is the difference in length between the factory hood and the fiberglass one?

Just trying to help.

Yea they are a little wide. Having the black jambs makes it look huge. It’s in body and paint now and they will be tightened up. As for the hood fitting the hinges don’t move, so the hood would not close without moving it forward 1.5-2 inches... it was hitting on the cowl. For it to clear without rubbing and getting stuck every time I open it. I believe the Hoods have the same dimensions, just the mounting holes on the fiberglass one are too far back.
Thx Denny always appreciate you thoughts and opinions.
