My friend Richard (who helped build my 7-foot oven years ago) said you can put LED bulbs into existing 8-foot fixtures simply by bypassing the ballast. Anyone tried this???
Yes, I have in 4ft fixtures. I bought the 4 ft led tubes from Amazon, I'll see if I can find the link. I then found a YouTube video.showing you how to remove the ballast and rewire the fixture. It's super easy and more cost effective than buying the led shop lights even from Costco.
