Yes, that would suck totally. The cadet dealer told me they offer an extended warranty that adds 2 years for a total of five years. He said he's never sold an extended warranty to anyone, says its a total waste of money. He said if it's going to have issues it will be obvious in the first six months. Plus he said its almost $500 for the warranty. Said if we were dumb enough to buy it he would sell us the extra warranty. I opted out of that. Very blunt, honest guy from what I gathered talking to him.
