Dartin for Divorce

Got the belt on and then realized there was no electrical connection to the ac compressor, found the plug for it wrapped up near the firewall and plugged it in. The compressor spins, so I'm thinking of picking up 2 cans of r12 and see if we can get some cold air blowing out of it. If not I'll probably do an r134 conversion for ease of getting r134.

Now on to more important things. I am thinking of having the engine rebuilt, but haven't found a shop/person in town to do it yet. I would do it myself but honestly don't have the time or space for it, maybe one day.

Currently the car has a 68 340, cylinder heads 2531894 (x heads I would assume?) an Edelbrock RPM Air Gap and a edelbrock 1405 carb.

I have headers and an exhaust sitting in my garage, both need cleaned up but might provide a little extra pep to the car :steering: Thought about getting them cleaned and re-chromed but for the cost of re-chroming them I could probably buy new ones? Should I just clean them up and paint them with a high heat spray? Or is that a no-no?
