you do know that you just cooked cotton or rayon thread and weakened it where it was sewn together? I hope those seat belts never need to be used since they are compromised. not knocking your choice but it is dangerous. I work at a trimmers shop that does custom interiors for Lincolns and he just shudders when customers tell him they have done that. Most of the times he turns down the job after that statement.
