14X5 1/2 Mopar Factory Wheels
Its clear if you look at the area where the wheel hoop and wheel center come together.
There is an easily visible lip on the 5-1/2" that isnt there on a 4-1/2".
...jimacuda- based on your earlier entry #20 (quotes attached) you should be able to tell if it is a 5 1/2 or 4 1/2 from the photo in entry #21... Can you see a visible lip where the wheel hoop and wheel center come together?
....I can. So you still think a wheel with a visible lip where the wheel and center meet is "obviously" a 5 1/2 wheel?
In fact- The wheels in the photo in entry #21 are 4 1/2 wheels- not 5 1/2
... So I suggest you check your advice before rattling off something that is not accurate and present it absolute terms like "of course" and "obviously"
Look my point is thanks to all for offering
advice and guidance but it sounds like arrogance when it is stated with terms like "obviously" and "it's clear" and you throw around opinions like they are facts. Don't need a tape measure- great good for you but I said I want more than an opinion stated as fact after getting burned- anyways whats the problem with taking a photo with a tape measure if someone asks for objective proof.... All V8 cars came with 5 1/2 wheels- Really? Not according to my sources. C'mon- nobody has all the info so please recognize when your voicing an opinion and when your voicing an objective fact.
For everyone who contacted me who has 5 1/2 wheels to sell -Thanks! Would be super helpful, as I have previously asked- if you were to send the key info for what you have: photos of the size stamp and/or a tape measure showing offset) photos of the front and back sides showing the parts of the wheels (rim edge, surface, and nut hole condition) and how much you are selling them for. Thanks to the two who actually named a price. Otherwise its a game of 20 questions asking each person to send photos and price etc... Pretty simple really. Then shipping can be addressed.
