Thanks, I actually have the 1-2 rod, looking for the reverse an 3-4 or a whole set. Are the B-body or later A-body the same configuration but just a different length? No problem with shortening and threading if that is an option.
"B" bodies rods are shorter by a lot, look at the mounting pad. The 64-65 mounting pad is rotated so the shift rods are shorter than the 68 up "A" body rods. It's good you only need the 3-4 rod then. I doubt a 68 up 3-4 rod could be made to work, but not impossible. Maybe get a used rod from another car and shorten and bend it to work. I'll take some pictures of my original 64 3-4 rod in the next day or two.
