Yeah, those are really for more race bred engines. You'll be hard pressed to find a better bang for the buck than the one from Summit. It's a decided step up from stock. That's what I would use. Now, on my long rod build, I am going for the Romac. lol

Eventually ill see about building up my slant to race its a really neat little engine, learned allot about them this last year. Bought mine off a guy who had allready tossed abunch of money into it but lost the drive to work on it. Right now i just use it to get to work so i dont need to be racing anyone, but once i get some money saved up ill see bout pepping her up some more.
