Hurst Ramrod shifter

Yes. If your gear box is slick shifted without the syncros in it, you have to hold it in gear when on deceleration. It will pop out of gear. Is it slick shifted or pro shifted? If it has rings welded to the gear, that’s pro shifted.

If it’s just slick shifted, you can grind every other tooth off the syncros, put the struts and strut springs back in with the syncros and it will stay in gear and still shift.

Edit: I’ve driven RamRod and Vertigate’s on the street and at the track. I prefer the RamRod because it’s a smaller shifter.
