Thoughts/opinions on Blueprint Engines 408 stroker crate engine?

You weren’t sure what my post was questioning…yet you jump to a pretty unflattering assumption that I was upset? I’m not sure what to say to that.

I would have written more except it was 2:30pm and I wanted to call as soon as possible to find out if I could get my place in line back since I made the decision to cancel the order later based on a mistake on BPE’s side. Clearly it was the case since on the same day that I was told that it would be an additional 3-4 months wait, you knew otherwise.

So I called in and spent about 20 minutes on hold, eventually got connected to Stephanie’s voicemail. I left a message but so far, haven’t got a call back. It was 3pm or so when I finally got connected to the voicemail so maybe she hadn’t gotten to it yet.

But sure, I was irritated (not quite the same as “upset”) that such a significant delay was not communicated…but maybe that’s because it wasn’t actually the case. I also thought I made it pretty clear in my post that I didn’t hold it against BPE. What else should I have said?

Im not sure who you are lecturing about supply chain but you can save it if it’s directed at me. I know what is happening in the world and I don’t think it’s BPE’s fault as I have already stated. For whatever it’s worth, I worked in aerospace supply chain for 15 years for a major OEM…based on my own experiences with having to do this and based on BPE’s reputation, I assumed that these secondary suppliers still have to conform to the same drawings, specs. That wasn’t my worry. I should also note that I would have been in deep **** if I saw that I was missing a delivery date by that much and didn’t say a word to the customer, which of course is what I believed was happening.

And yeah, I was irritated when I saw your post literally directed at “everyone else” contradicting what I was told directly on the phone. WTF was that all about? Is my inbox full? Maybe you tried to send helpful DM that there was a mistake? If so, this whole comment is null.

In any case, I get the impression that my comments have irritated you. That’s your prerogative but I honestly don’t know what you have to gain by trying to put me in my place or whatever…at least that’s how it looks from my perspective. If it’s all the same to you, can you maybe just back off a little?

For anyone else, this is not the style of anybody to whom I’ve spoken to at BPE. Literally everyone has been friendly, professional, and helpful.
Mr GTX, I honestly don't know how my posts are being taken in the way you are perceiving them. There is no intention to belittle you, or anyone else. My only intent was to clarify my own wording, as well as correct the statement about us being 6 months from building chryslers. I apologize for the way the reply was taken. I think that's officially my first red x on the forum. I haven't had issues with any members here, so this "getting off on the wrong foot" I'm hoping is just misinterpreted context. I was trying to provide some info and back story on why the line isn't getting shorter, and staying the course is the better option than waiting for the day we are caught up. No lectures intended. If I'm coming off as an *** I apologize. I'll bow out of this thread as I'm clearly doing a poor job at adding any value. What I will do is touch base with Stephanie and see what we can do about your place in line. Best of luck with the project. I will let the sales staff take it from here.
