Requested oiling mod info

That’s kinda what I’m looking at. I’m thinking of clocking the cam bearings on 2 and 4 so it blocks the hole going up to the heads. I just need to spend some time looking for the right place to get oil to the rockers that doesn’t pull it off the main bearings or from the passenger side oil gallery. I already block the oil off to the lifters.
Allow me a stupid question. Wouldn't grooving the rear most camshaft journal or using a grooved rear camshaft bearing provide full time oiling to the top? I know it does on a slant 6. And since the oil pressure essentially comes from the bottom end, HOW exactly do you get full time oil to the top without taking it from the bottom? Not arguing, just trying to understand.
