On original BB engines in "A" cars, not only did the block have the the two forward bolt holes threaded, but the factory cut off the rear, unused "ear". So in an original car , both will be present.

Hi Murray.
Do you recall if the passenger side mount has a sleeve the slides the Mount before the bolt goes in? ( factory 1968 383S) the mount hole is much larger then the bolt.
