Sorry for the short answer, was on my phone. I am going to get an R3 soon, but will just be using the converter to go to all the older lenses. The R3 has some features, vehicle tracking af being one of them that will benefit me. It also has 1053 af points vs my 1DX Mark III's 191. Not going to get rid of anything I have.
I had a 5D MK IV. Really liked it, just did not have the high frame per second shutter I wanted. But it took beautiful images. Some of the sunsets I took with it were incredible. Kinda wish I never sold it.
